Klondike Derby

WHEN: Saturday, February 1st 2025 (7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

WHERE: South Ridge area of North Park

TROOPS INFORMATION

The TroopS home base will be at the Donnevale Pavilion along South Ridge Drive adjacent to Donora Field.

The TroopS will assemble at 7:30 a.m. and begin to prepare for the start of the Derby. Derby activities run throughout the morning and afternoon. Pickup time is TBD but planned to be wrapped up around 4:00 p.m.

If picking up at the end of the day, the closing ceremony is in the Harmar Pavilion. Which is the first big pavilion on the left of S. Ridge Drive across from Pie Traynor Field and parking lot.

Lunch will be provided at noon, there will be a separate email coordinating the food assignments.

The entire event is outside, please dress appropriately for the weather. Class B attire.

7:00-9:00 a.m. - CHECK-IN

EVENT HEADQUARTERS- HARMOR GROVE

Registration, Fee collection, and Patrol Score Sheet distributed.

8:00-9:15 a.m. - SLED PREPARTION AND EQUIPMENT CHECK

LONE PINE FIELD

Sled Weigh-In after your patrol has its score sheet. The entire patrol must be present.

9:30-11:30 a.m. - EVENT COMPETITION (no event starts after 11:15am)

11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. - SCORE SHEETS FROM MORNING EVENTS TURNED – IN BY STATION LEADER.

EVENT HEADQUARTERS - HARMOR GROVE

11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. - LUNCH

12:30-2:45 p.m. - EVENT COMPETITION (no event starts after 2:30 p.m.)

3:00-3:15 p.m. - SCORE SHEETS FROM AFTERNOON EVENTS TURNED – IN BY STATION LEADER.
